What is the relationship between Pharo Ventures, Pharo Foundation and Pharo Management?

Pharo Foundation is a mission-led, impact driven organization, which is financed by global investment firm Pharo Management. It designs, funds and operates economic development projects across Ethiopia, Somaliland, Rwanda and Kenya. It operates through two divisions: Pharo Development, which invests in the development of public goods and non-profit projects, and Pharo Ventures, which invests in the African private sector on a for-profit basis. Hence the overall Pharo ecosystem embodies profit with purpose, as it cuts across the non-profit to for-profit spectrum.
